  • KRS 70V Tidy up.

Well folks made a start in the garage today. Got her up onto the axle stands and the wheels off. Removed the seats shampooed the rear seat which has came up a treat. Didn`t bother with the fronts as they will be getting retrimmed anyway. Removed some old stickers from the windows. Cleaned all the interior glass and trim apart from the dash as it needs to come to bits to rectify the electrical issues so will do that later.
Gave all the exterior glass a good cleaning and also gave the bodywork her first polish .
Made a list for national day autojumbles too

Will post more pics as the progress continues

A wee update for today. drained the coolant and removed the radiator. had a right mightmare with the jubiilees so had to hacksaw them off . I think i`ll be investing in a new radiator as it looks like its seen better days and i`ll also treat her to a new set of samco classics too . removed the bulkhead pad and windscreen washers. Removed the exhaust manifold and rubbed it down and gave it its first coat of manifold grey. Then made a start at the underside

Back to it tomorrow. Trying to get as much done as i can as national day at the weekend then it will be a quick sprint up the road home as i go back to oman on tuesday for another 6 weeks

Another busy day today. Got the arches and underside all cleaned up and a fresh coat of underseal applied. Also got all the running gear done a and a lick of paint. Polished the exhaust too and removed the rear shocks as they will be getting replaced .

Back to ti tomorrow to finish off the bits i seem to have missed

Removed the steering wheel today so a nice chunky 4 spoke can go on
Also took off most of the dashboard for cleaning and for access to fix the electrical problems but judging by what i found i think its going to be a bigger job than first thought Broken wires everywhere and a few of the switches not even connected
