But we did not and that is why I ended up paying about 28 000 NOK(£ 2900) for it ..still a happy camper though! Seller thought well about my plans for it and waited four-five days for me to raise the cash.

Less welding of rust on this one, time and money saved!

Have to finish the rallycar first, so until then I will just enjoy driving the Transit(maybe do some small modifications/repairs though).

A little update:



Had a service on the engine and put some new paint on the airfilter box.



Took of the towbar of my other Transit and have here prepared it for mounting on the panel van.



Put on som HELLA Rallye 1000 spotlights.



Had a little rally-X event on the field with my brothers 15 year old son driving the bus .



Engine is smoking a bit when cold, maybe hardened valve stem seals...?!
