took out my visors yesterday to clean up - they were pretty bad. The foam padding had gone hard and the plastic had puffed up & gone out of shape. I split one end carefully along the weld and took out the old foam and replaced with new 'elastilon' foam (self adhesive H/D foan for timber flooring).
Heated up the plastic cover a little and rolled it flat and washed. Superglued the cut back 20mm at a time. like new
