well i went to put the trailer on and i had no lights lol so went anyway to pay the bloke for it and get my first look at the old girl and this is what i found

woo hoo 200 quid and i have another old beast

i'm well happy not much rust at all a little on the n/s scuttle and one small repair to each lower rear 1/4 behind the arch **** all in the grand scale of thing some of you fellas tackle back in the uk

so i'm well happy another almost rust free car but this one is a complete car one owner an old dear had it from new lol, it's still on it's original wheels and trims and to top it all it runs ahahhahaha sold lol. so i will go back and get it tomorow and give it a good wash and a closer inspection but it all looks in great nick never been welded floors are mint as is the dome and under the bonet and inside the spare wheel well. so all in all i have had a great day and a lovely winters day with a barmey 31 degrees woo haa

Badnews you have sickened everyone over here again....what a cracking shell. Just to try and make us all feel better, do you have problems with cooked trim down your way?

yes the trim is fried matey, i forgot to look at the dash pad but deep down i know it will be rooted. the only good thing is as i make all the plugs amd moulds for the conversions we do at work i can get it retrimed at dashboard restorations for next to nothing. i only intend to fit two bucket seats so the trim will be going to the dump. i will just use it as it is for a while i recon just for a laugh. i get loads of shite over here over favouring ford over holden ahahahha like i'm botherd. i am looking for a gemini a mid 70's tx coupe at the moment to add to my old shiter collection lol

mk2ddc they are thin on the ground here to but it is not impossible to find them you just have to keep asking the right people, i have a friend that worked for the local wreckers and he introduced me to a few of the fellas that work there. being a pome i stand out ahahah and haveing bought the blue escort i have from them they remember me. so when he came across this one he passed the number on through said friend. i was going to get it today but just ran out of time lol. but i did my duty and went to the bottle shop and got them both a case of beer each for doing me a good turn. in the end it was my downfall ahahhhaha, i went to drop the beer off and these blokes being true blue aussies i could not escape without a beer and a bite to eat. so after a chat with the fella that found me the escort i found out he knows of more ahahhahah but are in a little worse condition so did not mention them as he said they are rotten lol when i asked how bad he told me they need floor pans so are nackerd in his opinion. anyway he will track them down for me and get some phone numbers this week. two weeks back i bought a rot free mk4 cortina for the engine ahhahha i have that stashed out the mrs way round the back of my shed lol till i get the time to pull the mota then it can go to the wreckers a shame realy as it is better nick than the escort. anyway it will be home later this week as i'm busy with work and still chaseing my concreater as he is giveing me the run around lol
