Cheers for the offer mate! I even thought about doin it myself as I like learning new stuff but I'm hoping engine/gearbox can go in next weekend if this guy can turn it round quick enough.
Gearbox dropped off at a firm fairly local for a going over. Once he's stripped it we will decide on a way forewards. Providing its not cattled and just wants a rebuild with new seals and gaskets I will prolly have the input shaft machined and sleeved.
Last few jobs prior to engine in. I released the nearside engine bay loom to apply some heat protection. Main loom is wrapped with reflective ally/fiberglass tape and my temp thermistor wire is in 500degC sleeving. Not as pretty as it was but is there to do a job.
Finally made up my rear brake line this morning, and fitted a new goodridge braided hose to the axle. Just the fuel line to clip in then i can fit the engine ( once i get my gearbox back )
