Well 6 weeks on and not much has happened, although i have been doing stuff on the car. Carpet has been resewn. Engine bay just about finished. Seat frames cut and rewelded. Carpet in just about.........
Rear spring shakle bushes are shit so went to replace them and found one of the shakles is U/S so got a pair comin from escort tec. Various other bits have been done but its all too boring to list here

New kick panels, with pocket drivers side





Last headache is the carpet. The one I bought was a bit baggy over the tunnel so I've unpicked the stitching to see if I can rescue it.





You can see from this last pic, the top pencil line is from the floor piece, and the bottom pencil line is from the tunnel piece, so between the two I've got about 2.5" too much carpet, allowing for 1/4" for seams.


If this all goes horribly wrong who does a nice easy fit carpet ?? LOL
