                • So just for an update, I've got new seats

And more recently I've been sorting out the engine bay loom. Early twink looms are supposed to be in 4 bits, LH inner wing, RH inner wing and two short looms for the headlight all joined up with circa 1960's plugs. My loom was in one continuous bit, and after I'd removed the tape it was apparent where the old joining plugs had been chopped out - no doubt due to corrosion. I decided to re In state these plug breaks and get rid of the horrible raised soldered wire joins, I also removed a lot of knackered wires that changed coulours every few inches as previous repairs were made. I got loads of new cable, all correct colourways and set to sorting it all out. I have used modern waterproof connectors as I won't find NOS and want it done.

That is essentially one half done, the RH wing loom and the off side headlight loom.
