new project

decided to get my new project started
ive known about this car for 5 years its a 2 owner from new car
have all bills and original receipt for it
went away to paint shop yesterday
had a stratch on bonnet and a scrape on rear quarter
had them chrome trims all over it so i decided to get rid and weld all holes up
so will need a full paint now
it was a 1100 base model has had welding not the neatest job but its solid

have welded strut top reinforcements on think its only got 54000 on clock
missus and kids hate the colour think i might change it while its at paint shop

yes uk car been in my village all its life have receipt from cowies in sunderland
has been patched up but is a decent car
ive sold engine and box have a jem pinto on 45s thinking of fitting it
thinking about doing it lemans green with black wheels bumpers etc for something differant
just noticed midland wheels doing all black 7" minilites
also have a lsd to go in it
not sure just yet but will have to decide soon as its at painters
i even have a brand new ford exhaust for the 1100 engine and a brand new filter housing i got some good bits with car even a gen ford rear complete panel

decided to have a peek down paint shop today

so i went inside and saw this
looks lush getting it back weekend might even get it finished for the lakes

taking bumpers to powder coaters today will try them on car see what they look like
credit to painter he has only had it 10 days should get it back sat
then get the bigger engine fitted that i bought off mark
quite a bit to do but will give it a go
