          • Alas not interested ,,,,,,,,,, As most cars with the battery in the boot the car always sounds slugish to start ,,,,, So I thought maybe of placing the battery in the back behind the passenger seat and fix it in a battery box

            • Hey Alan

Are you using standard fuel tank & sender?

What fuel level gauge is that?

              • At the moment its a standard tank and a cortina gauge and they seem to work fine together,,,,,,I will change to a big shaped tank at some time but this will be one of the last tasks

I thought the rear cage mounts (and front legs ) have to have 3 fixing points and a 150 cm2 strengthening plates fitted on the top side of the wheel arches ?
Even if you are not going to get a MSA Logbook I would recomend it if you are going to do any Track days as if you were unfortunate enough to turn it over ( it has happened to some off here in the past ) you don't want the legs being pushed through the floors or arches

                  • You are correct I should have plates on the rear legs,,,,ther are plates on the main hoop but you cant see them in those pictures

Might look better with matching gauges
