Hi i bought the car in June 08 with a 12 month MOT the body was in very good condition and the car only had 2 owners in 30 years last owner 1982, i have spent the last few months replacing all the mecanical items removing the 1.1 engine and box and fitting a 1.6gt.
Also compleat new suspention brakes ect here are some pictures.
I have fitted a RS spoiler and new door mirrors and full nut and bolt replacment and poly bushed.
Rear axle cleaned painted and new rear wheel cylinders and shoes fitted also hand brake cable ect.
whist engine was out a little tidy up of engine bay nothing much need no rot, picture 1 is how it looks now but radiator top is now painted more pics to follow Mark
