  • Makeover rather than refurb!!!!!!

    This car was purchased by a freind last year when it was brought to Ayrshire it was documented as being 95% original body paintwork with no panel work at all i will show the pictures after being delivered throught to current condition hope you enjoy Owner SC02MAC!!!!!!





















    NOW THE START OF THE PAINT STRIPPING!!!!!!!
    THIS WAS THE MAJOR REPAIR IT REQUIRED!!!!!



























    THATS THE BARE METAL DONE INNER WINGS WERE ALSO DONE!!!
    NOW THE PAINT.
























    car is also detailed underneath!!!1
    Car has now been reassembled minus engine which is away getting a refurb @Jem engines in Falkirk 01324 633266 top engine builders up North!!! should be uplifted at next SOSE meet night.
    Scott has recently bought this pile of Crap!!1

    lovely looking car looked too good for such a big job but the outcome makes it really worth while

      The car had a few little marks around it so Scott Decided it goes to the bare metal to see what he was dealing with & to say we were pleasantly surprised well the car speaks for itself.

      when the last car was done it had some rework so it was decided to project manage it this time Scotts way the result a car back not requiring any further work 1st time!!##

      hopefully see ya all at the Lakes tour with GEX & HHH

                            deffo makes life easier with no sourcing parts like panels or welding
                            this was a good car to start with had my doubts about the origanality of it but the bare metal was the way to go the underneath is every bit as good

                              Just seen the thread Dave, does look a superb RS that. Remember you saying at Lakes how good it was when you were stripping it.
