  • my old pigs made it home at last

well today i managed to fetch one of the old escorts i have so i thought i would put up a few more piccs of the old beast as it sit's on blocks outside my shed. i have started to strip it ready for going on a spit so i can do a proper job of it. leaveing it sat outside in the bush has done it no favours but it will be fine. i have found a few bit's of rot but not a lot i will take a few more piccs tomorow as when i had finished pulling stuff of it and throwing a bucket of water over it it was starting to go dark so only got a few quick piccs.

    looks good down here ahahahah

a bit of a graze on the rear 1/4 but nothing that won't straighten out and the paints started to peel back to the primer due to the sun

another ding on the 1/4 but an easy fix

woo hoo no cracks or rot aahahhhaha

and this is where it has sat for the last four years

i'm well happy to get it home at last but it won't be a quick job as i won't have a lot of time till the end of jan but i will be able to strip it and get it on a spit, i intend to bare metal it as all the panels are original so it will be worth it in the end.

Sat for four years and look at it!! If it had sat over here for four years the only thing left would be the blocks!! Looks a really good shell and a nice shed to build it in.

fast eddie i see you have a ozzy shell to compliance plate's onthe inner wing and the petrol filler in the middle of the back pannel are the giveaway. as for getting it built ahahahahahaha i wish i have loads of shite to do before i can spend any decent amount of time on it with sorting out my house lol, i have gota sort out the pool area and fence the bloody thing in asap as i am getting ear from the mrs lol. although i have had another play with it tonight just more tfr degreeser and a jet wash. tomorow i will finnish striping it out and drop the rest or should i say what is left of the suspension. i hope to have it in the shed for the weekend then worrie about it later thats if i can leave it alone pmsl, i orderd 10 ltrs of paint stripper today so i can see me haveing a few late nights down in me shed hideing from the mrs. again messed up on the piccs ahahah only got a few again this time the phone went flat . oh yea fast eddie i won't make the spider mistake again i jet washed it inside and out

the sills are real good only light surface rust and all spot welds are still visable

the doors are mint not a bit of rust ahhahahhahaha

                        i can't stop laughing

all original ahhahhahha best $200 i spent for god knows how long, anyway that is it for the piccs i will take more as i go along, oh yes this site upset the mrs this morning
