Start to finish! 4door mk2

I have finished the resto now but here are some pics of before,during and after! im lucky the shell was so solid, its never had any welding done!

We found this 4-door a few years ago,little cracker

Marks boy had it for a couple of years.

thanks for the comments! the wings are repaired on the fronts so it looks clean for now, i am having non genuine wing fronts cut off and put on to mine as dont want to take the wings off with them been original

you must have got it off the old dear that owned it from new then darren, im only the third registered keeper still but it went thru some hands in the trade! cheers al

haha that not pickey! i want black mirrors and handles too! do they do black 4door handles as dont want to paint mine in case they chip!

I've know of the mk2 for @15 years
Yes it was a old dear,up the end of the inlaws road.
My mate used to mot and service it at the local garage.

We brought it off a local trader after the old girl stopped driving.

Cheers Darran, its great to hear about the cars past! iv got all the history it came with too! I have powder coated all the components on her and she is looking very nice on the underside now too! going to do the axle etc this winter!
