  • My 100e XE Project

Don't know if your into your other OSF's guys, but i have built this little 100e since 2005, completed last xmas. Has had a full rebuild with escort running gear, chassis mounted 2.0 XE on twin 48's. DTA distributorless ignition, Type 9 Gearbox, 4 linked English with 3.77 Tran X LSD, Spax adjustable shocks on rear and Bilstein Comps up front. Stripped out interior. Full respray in Ford Imperial Blue.

Was going to use this as a first car and originally fitted a 1600 x-flow but got a bit carried away and thought about building something a little special. Also wanted to get a few track days in. Have so much fun driving this! All the guys round by me have plastic saxo's and shit. Little shits call me harry potter when i'm out in it lol thats till they see it go lol

Ran a 14.2 up santa pod this year, beating a Sierra Cosworth so well chuffed with it. Hope you like

i absolutely love aleds response haha the other half sed that as i pulled up outside her house for the first time in it, she promises never to get in it again lol such a sideways machine its unbelivable lol

Would love top put the XE in the Mk1, but going to try keep the Mk1 driveable on a day to day basis. The 100e just eats fuel and its too tempting to put your foot down lol

              cheers for the comments guys

205 block (decked), cosworth crank, rods, pistons(decked),flywheel, burton ultra big valve head, emerald stg 4 cam, twin 48 dellorto's
did 181 bhp when last on the rollers has since been fully rebuilt after no'4 inlet valve head fell off, now fully run in but not been on the rollers since the rebuild, but should be the same as the spec didn't change.
