  • Bit of a spurt on today. feel knackered now but has been worth it. Engine and Box are now in. WCXM was a bit of a pain but I found an ingenious method using KY Jelly, A Ratchet strap and a rubber hammer LOLOLOLOL

Car is getting quite dusty again so a good clean tomorrow I think.

LOL, I was sweating a bit over the damn thing. Really hope I never have to take it out again. Engine and box now sit really firmly with almost no movement (New heavy duty g/box mount) Going to be horrible to drive.

I did a trial fit and everything lined up perfectly. Come to fit the X member to the mounts and the holes in the mounts were too small for the bolt to go through. Bit of reaming later all was good. When the X member was offered up to the chassis with the engine in place the N/S holes were perfect but the O/S ones were way out. Had to ratchet strap the X member to the rear Anti-tramp bar and wind it in till it all lined up. No modifications needed in the end which is rare for a WCXM.

just wait till a big dent appears on the osr 1/4 panel from where u have twisted the shell might make it turn right better if it is twisted
