As Yagmur said, no idea what we are going to the with these parts. We believe some of these parts are very rare so we are probably just going to hang them on the wall like an art piece.
On the other hand, since we have a very nice purpose made jig ( actually converted from a Cellette type of jig ) to assemble certain parts of the mk2 during our restorations, we could easily turn these nice collection of parts into car with better tolerances than the factory did on those days but again some of the parts are very rare ( even Expressed panels have not been making the pattern ones ) so I guess we should just keep them.
I think you should measure all or most of these panels up and create a book of dimensions better than this one for MK1.MKIBodyDims.pdf I would buy it if reasonable price. I would love to have dimensions of a whole car as I am currently trying to rebuild a shell that has had so many bits mucked about with that I cannot trust any of it. I keep looking at your website for ideas as to how to attach it all together.
Any new news from these guys? I have been to Turkey and saw a similar workshop where they turn a piece of sheet metal into a new body panel, using only a hammer and blowtorch. Really amazing workmanship!
