  • Olympic Blue Mk1 Escort

please bare with me, i'll be doing a few months work in a coupe of posts.

anyway, swapped a ropey cortina for this...

plans are to do this build properly

the shell will be receiving the full treatment, new floors, large gearbox tunnel, roof sorted, possibly get it all linked/firewalled. the outside will be sorted, making sure bodywork is mint (if it works out easier and cheaper, orginal wing/arches will be re-fitted for a proper sleeper, then a respray in the awesome olympic blue it already is.

this is gonna take me a long time, but its all worth it, i love escorts

in the meantime, i shall be focusing on driving the mk4, and paying of debts

Went up to see the escort on monday

good thing is, they say i've done well and have a decent shell, so once there's been a few bits tidied up and all the new panels in, the shell will be mint

anyway, here's the pics i took...

                    nice job.
word of advise though, throw them willwood pads in the bin, or use them as paper weights.
                    cheers.

+1 to what mark said, do not fit the willwood pads, you'll think there is something wrong with your brakes, they just don't work. mintex 1144's is what you need
