This is my mk2 Mexico, its a nice little money pit 
but aren't they all.
I've always been more of a lurker on the site, but guessed it was time to get some pics up and some info.
Had the car for a little while now and have been gettin it together for ages.
Classic ford 2009 was its first proper outing, and it made it to and from the show with no problems.
I've had plenty of work done, and done a fair bit myself.
The shell was in ok condition and had been sorted and resprayed in metallic dolphin grey (audi colour).
The interior has been retrimed in leather look vinyl & basket weave from a triumph stag.
The harnesses are red schroth auto control ones, which are pretty handy when leaning forward to change the stereo or get something for the glovebox.
It has a 4 spoke rs motorsport steering wheel on a momo boss.
The wheels are 7x13 superlights, covering vented disks & wilwood 4pots upfront and sierra disks & calipers at the rear.
The car has a 2.2pinto on 48 webers and an ashley 2 1/4 exhaust, it has a 4speed straight cut rocket.
The rear axle is from an anglia (soon to be changed), with a tran-x LSD and a quaife semi floating hub/shaft setup.
