Thanks everyone.

Today I've had some to do some little work on the car. The coating underneath is finished. When the coating is dry, I can paint it.

The past few week I bought some parts that are becoming hard to find.

Nos ford mk1 rs wing ( got a set complete now )


Nos BBS ford motorsport E30 wheels ( 13" ) 9j


I just would like to find some parts to get from 9j to 7j or 8j. So they can be fitted on the mk1

The car will ge started at the paintjob at the end of august.

After several months and years I found the manual for my mk1 rs2000.



This month is my car going to the paint shop and will be finished in 2013.

those rims are cracken nice and wide.will fill ur archs for sure.

They have started the body work.
I hope it will be done in e few weeks / months.
I'm looking forward to see the colour on the car.



Update from the car :
Ford has checked the history of the car and they found out that it was build in Aveley with extensions and several options on it. I think there aren't much left from the RS2000's with that kind of options.

Ford said it's a special build one. They have put it on a paper for me to proof it. Now I need to sort out the special build plates because they are lost.

lovely, what colour are you going? original or something different? if it was me and knowing it was a special build i would put it back to original colour again.
