thrust bearings

are 4 and 5 speed thrust bearings the same going to put my 2.8 box in tomorrow ive got a new clutch and pressure plate and i was going to use my 4 speed thrust bearing or do i need a 5 speed one

yes they are the same.
worth putting a new one on while its out though.

p.s. have you trimmed the input shaft down on the 2.8 box as they are slightly longer.
