  • Wing drip rail replacement height advise please

    Hello All,
Looking for some help and advise.

My old RS2000 shed is in need of replacement front wing drip rails. I have bought replacements Hadrian.

Does it matter if I weld them directly to the top of the inner wings or on the underside. I am thinking about the height of the rail/front wings as I want the wings at the correct height.?

Is it best to fit the nose panel and then align the front wings to obtain the correct height?

I can align the rear of the wings to the scuttle at the windscreen end of the car.

    Best regards, Jimmer.

hi to fit the wing rails correctly i would set up the wing and nose then you can get an idea of the height.if possible tack weld the rail in place before removing the wing thay way you should get a pretty accurate result.

The hadrien wing rails seem to be too wide even for going over the top of the orig wing rails. We cut mine down and welded them to the side of the old drip rails.

You will need to take measurements all the way along also, and then trial fit a wing, and check it lines up with the bonnet and the rear.

      Good luck
