  • 1976 RS2000 Mk2..

Well, got hold hold a very rough escy....love at first site so couldn't bear it being taken away or scrapped.....
so, started to free off the brakes, stood for 13 years,,,put some air in the tyres which exploded at 10psi,,,LOL....wakey wakey.....so, on old old rubber and 2 days with WD40 she was pushed into the garage....
then a lot of sweat and tears took place....
too good to scrap or strip.......too bad to ever take on a full resto , though it deserves it I'm sure.....less than 27,000 miles.........but the idea is a 2nd track car to give my old renault a day off...LOL..
mmmm, found this...bonnet was holding the front leg in...surprising how much they drop when you pop the bonnet.

and the carpet had sunken, to the point it hung under the drivers footwell..LOL..

thank's......hard work never killed anyone, although it did empty the wallet quicker than a lady of the night..
this made me smile once I could see it...

pikey door damage, also bent the steering column trying to steal it ..many years ago,,,,hence its a little rusty..

and the condition of the paintwork after 13 years of being baked through an old throw over cover..even nitromoors didnt touch it....60grit just turned to dust and didnt touch the surface..
