cant sleep, but i dont know if its down to the total below

excluding the car, just got up to ............ gulp ......... £8950 (but take £500 off for a set of OMP RS buckets/frames/bolsters sat in the loft when i did the interior in 07)

so say £8.5k - dont know if thats good or bad (i know the cars a shed, so it must be bad )

but, that is everything, starting with the series X kit, prep work, pent, wheels, tyres, new engine + bits, carbs, tranx box, diff, suspension, interior .............. everything

i know why Ju had a quizzical expression on her face when she asked how much the car cost originally in 1979 and what i paid for it in 2002

off to bed again now for another nightmare !!!!

I'm up to £3,800 now, but that includes buying it in 1996

The £800 has been on the recent engine bay refurb

May have to splash out soon on re-covering the seats.

just added mine up,not that bad really, but i think some receipts aren't there.£8168 plus £2500 for the car.still using a 3 piece manifold from trans auto from 1990rs front wings £45.00(still in roof).respray oven baked 2 pac £290,think the roof is the only bit of that left.theres a few exhaust systems and 2 sets of spax.probably another £1000 somewhere

including buying the car, 13k , car was only £3200,58k never been welded 2 owners.
no big cheques written to anyone for work coz i did it all myself and have a good mate who works in a bodyshop
Most of the moneys went one NOS bits.

All in I dont think its to bad looking at what some have spent and you couldnt buy a rs2000 like mine for 13K now, maybe soon though if the credit crunch gets worse. I hope not

its funny, but obvious, that some years you spend top dollar out and others hardly anything

2005 was the highest at just under £4.5k - where as the lowest was 2003 at £66.76 for an alternator
