  • money spent on your car

started last night to catalogue all the receipts on the car since bought in march 02

that year was a mega spend, as was 2005 when the engine, box and diff were all done

will let you know how much soon - interesting looking back at a few bills that came with the car, had 'A LOT' spent on it in 1988 at Ford Trimoco, Luton

does/has anyone else got a running total for their cars ? i know richyc is always saying he'll do the same with his vast folder full, but hasnt got round to it - he got his in 1989 and the shock of the total just might send him over the edge

Never look in a womens handbag and never ask a man how much he's spent on his car

    Let us know though

inner wing £89 from ford dealer..and so on, time warp prices

The engine build receipts are the scary ones

i know im well over £14k but that is including buying it, 2007 was my most expensive year with engine mods, brake mods and a bit of body work totalling just over £4500. i try to spend as little as possible now though as i dont like it that much any more ...........................

But if you do Dave, don't divide the total amount by the number of miles you actually driven the car ... ...
