    Hello,
I don't post on here much but decided to start a thread about my MK2 Escort i'm building at the moment,
had the car 18 months or so, and it was sprayed last week! (finally),
heres some pictures from when i first purchased it, to the stage it's at now:

underneath/engine bay once all the underseal and crap was scrapped off, which was a longgg and horrilbe job!!!

now after a bit of interior primer

and the underneath with a splash of paint

This is when it was in the paint shop last week:

i ran out of time, and money!, to have the stripe down the side painted, so will go back at some point in the future to have it done, or may have it made in vinal,
but thats the stage it's at now!, hope you like!, and i shall keep you up to date with how it's going,
next job is to save up & buy the carbs, then put the engine on the engine dyno.

    Cheers Matt

Thanks for the nice replys guys!!,
the shell was quite good to start with, done a bit of welding on it though, front wings, sills, and the odd little one here and there, but overall not bad.
i've got a pinto for it which i brought from Morley, which has cossy crank and rods, ported head etc,

was thinking of putting throttle bodies on it but have been talked into carbs, so in about 2 months it will be on the engine dyno at Phillspeed with a set of 45's on it getting set up!.
