Had another go at this one today, had the blaster round












Do any of the mk1 boys think these look factory fit ??, doesn't have any other strengtheners but these sorta look right and can't see why they would have been fitted later

I've seen them on an ordinary mk1 before (I mean years ago too) Exactly the same type of thing as yours.

Carry out any repairs, type 49 strengtheners, bubbles , prime it then offer for sale.

No mate, still there, haven't made any effort to sell or start on it yet, doing a 'RS spec' tarmac arched MK2 at the moment which will be put up for sale as a painted shell, then I think this MK1 goes in the bodyshop to get sorted.
