  • NOO started today [RS MEXICO MK2]

Some of you will know this car it has been about on and of for a few years it was my son's car having sold my own car WLB to a nice welsh lady last summer. I have now got this one from my son. I started today to strip her down for a light restro not sure which way to go yet but I think it will be a rePENT [Paul] of the engine bay and front end I have found a few problems but it's not bad at all really. Main ones being the driver side wing and flaking PENT. The wings have never been replaced and still have the wing numbers stamped in them a would like them repaired rather than replace them as there’s not that much wrong with them.
So the plan is to have her up and running for the tour in May it will be going to the body shop early part of January, the engine was all rebuilt about four year ago so it will get a freshen up and put back in. It also has had bonnet pins in since we got it which has ****ed me off for along time so they will be going too, the car will remain standard no mods just a 1600 OHC with a twist [eh Spence] long as she goes like WLB I will be more than happy
I will keep the pics coming as and when i get one with it
