i used cheap laminate- carpet underlay on the floor sections, but i wished i'd glued some over the transmition tunel before glueing the carpet to it, because once its glued down its there to stay.

        • Hooked the car up and took it to motorscope. was going grate guns on the rollers, after a power run when sitting on tickover there was a bit of a pop and it stopped and then wouldn't start again, I started to get a bad feeling but Pock said it would be something simple, we just had to fined it.

The points had melted and the condencer was hot to, turned out to be the coil that burton power had supplyed had a bit much kick.
All good in the end turning out a respectable 143 bhp, well happy

                            • Looks great, nice work!

I'm looking at putting twin webers on my Mk2 xflow so just wondering what sort and size inlet manifold you are using and did you have to lower or modify the brake booster for the webers to clear it?

                              Cheers Daren
