                Can't believe it either . I would think that it has probably made the car worth less too. It was such a straight one . Have to say that it looks a stunning job though

                    I hear what you are saying guys but the owner has always wanted a bubbled MK1, it was perhaps unfortunate that this car had been retro fitted with a pair of 1300E wings, however at the end of the day it is his car to do as he pleases. I wish that when I did my last MK2 I had stuck with my original plan to flat front and arch it, had I done that I would still own it, instead I listened to what others said and built it back to standard then sold it.

                    Oh, we still have the little grey MK1 but shell number 3 is being picked up as we speak, bit of work on for the grinder over the next few months ..........

                        When fitting the arches I have been told 3 different ways are right!

                        1- Outside the wing

                        2- Inside the wing

                        3- Butt weld and grind flush.

                        How did Ford do it?
