i`m sure your dad will let you have a go of his RS one day.my son is 12 and i let him drive my mk1 RS2000 up and down a tarred track by our house with me sat beside him of course.now he can say he`s driven a RS!it will be a long time before he gets another go tho.
i`ve bought him an xr3i cabby that just wants a bit of tinkering.it only cost £300 with a new roof so when he`s old enough he will just have to shell out for insurance and not the cost of a car.
thanks
koool good luck to him !!
thats my problem.. the damm insurance going to cost a bomb
on saturday night we borrowed a spit so we've moved the engine and box from under the car, and we've put the spit in position, but were going to have to modify it a bit as its been modified to fit a ae86 corrolla.. shouldnt be too hard tho its just a tiny bit of modifing to the rear spit, and a flat peice of steel what should fit onto the ARB brackets
*sorry for the RUBBISH pics , a proper camera is on the xmas list *
petrol tank and lines are all out now and the bumpers and cibies off
and tonight im going to stripp the interior out.. i really need a place for all my car bits
lots of little things have been happening, all VERY slowly. ive been building up me engine, what ill post pic's of when finished proably wont be to everyone's taste though
Keep up the good work mate dont matter what anyone else thinks of your car when its done as long as your happy with it thats all that counts cheers davie
DONT FEAR, the engine isnt goin in the car anymore and is going to go in one of the other cars (proably a 1.6 ghia) But i think it looks quite good on there
