just got it out of the garage and to the end of the road and!!!!







no i wasn't thrashin it didn't get chance,
bit bang, pulled over no other noises, ticked over a little rough, but it's been running rough enyway, good oil pressure, so i tiptoed back 300yrds and took a look

just picked up a replacment, all std, not sure what to do with the block yet,
bore has a slight ding in it, not too deep,
head may polish out,
could weld the valves back together!!
camshaft is damaged
and it snapped 1x follower,
looks like the problems i've been having were a little deeper than just running in and running a bit rich!

Stick some glass on the top of that block mate and you've got a nice coffee table, then every time you rest your ale on it you can have a little chuckle about it to yourself once you're up and running again.

not sure what way to go yet,
have a few parts now but a bit reluctant to too mad, first time i lost a valve, bitter pill to swallow at mo.

what do you think went first?

1. Cam follower (roller)
2. Valve (spring & cap are ok)
3. fueling not set up properlly (allways had problems with no 1 cylinder)

2 x RS cast manifolds
1x 4 branch
1x ashley (shit) 4 branch
1 x axel casing (x2 h/shafts)
2x std calipers
2x spaced calipers
4x new vented disks


don't we just love collecting crap for these cars!!!!!
