Not much of an update. Removed the nosecone and stripped the remaining bits from inside. Going to bead blast the underside and paint the whole car green so removing the rest of the mechanicals and fitting to a spit sometime this week.

Strut top plates are small hole so going to replace with large hole plates and inner wings.

                    Cheers

No it was Signal Green from new, but someone decided that they wanted it Signal Yellow and painted it Then it was re-painted Signal Green but there was some yellow still left underneath which is now getting totally removed to bare metal for the new paint

It is a 76 car and has had new wings and when replaced they put on small strut tops so I'm putting back to original type
                            Cheers

Thanks Glyn. Oggie, Spence & Ruddy saw it in Ireland earlier this year and said the same. It's not major work needed but if it isn't done right now it will just need re-done in 1-2 years time so I'd rather do it properly this time and hopefully it will last for 8-10 years
                                Cheers
