This is my 1977 rs2000 ,signal green in colour. She was bought on a whim, over the phone from the escort-tec boys.
Since buying it nothing has been done to her apart from stripping out three alarms and getting her running, thou Ive amassed a few nice odds and sods. The reason for not getting on with her was a mexico also in signal green dropped in my lap, for a price not to be sniffed at.
Anyway considered selling one or the other ,even had the rs on pistonheads last week ,as soon as the first person turned up and started looking her over i knew i'd done wrong. Thanked the kind gentleman:winka: for his offer and considering the prices i payed and they're rarity, both are staying So spent acouple of hours doing the below
The plan of action is to get a ticket on it and usable and then concerntrate on the mex which will need major surgery .Shouldn't be to differcult MOT wise as the rs underneath is as Henry made her , needing only rear arch lips, petrol tank well, small patch on the driver floor pan and minor work under the bonnet.
Thanks to the Tecy boys and Lil Paul for their help with parts and advise.
Cheers Graeme
