rally rebuild (RSC 151P)

Some pics of my rally car rebuild, had the shell blasted and had to sweep most of it up so LHD car from south of france was aquired, rebuild under way.

most of the stuff from the car went to guys from the S,O,S,E, forum the bulk head pad went as well but was for LHD so fuse box hole on wrong side.

Nice pics, as most people know Mk1 & Mk2's were built around the wiper linkage.
Love the way it is now accessible

The LHD donor shell looks about as solid as you'll ever find, very nice indeed.
Are you going to leave the wipers as is, or covert to RHD ????

was intending to leave the wipers but as im fitting a pedal box with internal cylinders the wiper motor hit the cylinder so had to change them to RHD.
