Its been a while since i updated my thread, been busy with the car but even more busy at work so not done as much as i wanted, got a few things sorted, got my bonnet fitted with bonnet pins and recessed plates so they sit flush in the bonnet, had to recess the slam panel aswell cos the plates were hit it, had to get the escort lamp brackets modified to fit the slope of the front panel just need to get them painted up in black, quarter bumpers all trial fitted had to cut a hole in the front panel because of the indicators were fouling the panel, ive cut the centre of the scuttle panel out because of the rust inside so i;ll just have that removable just add some bolts to hold it down/
most of the car except the roof is now in etch primer so in a few weekends time i'll have the car in primer ready for a rub down before another coat of white primer then diamond white.
painted the dash stain black, looks a bit glossy in the photos cos.
it was still wet strange to see it in black again after seeing it in white for so long.
also bought an 1.8 zetec engine today thats supposedly fitted with kent cams!! i wanted a 2 litre but hopefully with the cams it wont be far of the same bhp wont know til i get it fitted and running, once the engine bay os painted i can put the engine in.
