saturday was a big day for the mk2 as we fired her up for the first time..turned her over with no plugs in to get oil pressure up. fitted plugs and she started on the first click.. what a buss to see a car that been rebuilt finally come alive and sounds sweet..

had a busy weekend, all been well she will be going for a test next week. had a drive around and its like been in a gokart..all thats left now is a bit of damge to sort (few small dints etc) alarm to install, paintwork needs flatting ,all the badges locks etc and general setup..so nottingham show will be its first outing followed by national day..

to answer this question for pete, no its not tubbed but we can get away with the big rear wheels because it utilised the original sierra inner arches so gives ample room behind the body.

there are some earlier pictures that show this but they were lost from his photo bucket!

well the mk2 made its first show ..only just (got finished at 9pm saturday)..the engine need to be run in so no heavy right foot..its still needs a few bit of paint sorting but the finish if the paint is like glass..

she drove down and back with out any drama..so happy days
