had a rush of blood this morning decided to use my old engine,so in it went,need new cam and carbs and hopefully it wont all go bang.


will ask in tech section as well but does anybody know the exact size of the gearbox spacers to link my 5 speed to the mounts ,need to make some cheers.

Hi Graham. Gs escorts do them for £35, But check.. it was a bit back. But i must say the car is looking good. Keep at it..

after rushing putting in the engine,decided it spoilt the engine bay, so out it came,spruced it up,new clutch and bolts and back in,looks 100 times better .




diff and gearbox all done ,used the 5 speed mounting blocks from gs escorts fitted real nice.

other than a few odd jobs just fuel and brake lines to do now.
