i will give you a clue,No1, i dont smoke,and No2 is i wouldnt touch chassis work yet and No3 is ive found a top lad ,who,s well recomended and seen a grp4 shell hes done,whos prices means it aint worth buying the wire and gas for the mig .......or no
other than a front scuttle,and a small chassis repair ,needs to be perfectly hidden so not to be done by me,the amber thing is 99% rot free,been grinding back welds and underseal all day, look like a coal miner,but no more little finds of tin worm,soon be ready for spraying underneath
door and bonnet back on to re-align front wing.
last bit of rot cut out and replaced
booked in for spray job early may,got to get boot,engine bay and underneath sealed and sprayed before,should be fun.
when you strip these cars you find out the real truth of whats underneath the paint ! and once youve sorted it you know its a good solid car well done mate keep up the hard work ! it will be another minter . john

as the amber barsteward has given up on giving nasty surprises,im starting to get her ready for spray mid may,love to see other restos so hope these are of interest.

now just need to get the best stonechip,and get a match for my signal amber as the paint shop said there are 3 different shades avaliable
