Ok, thats it she's gone to be welded up and arched. Here are some pics of the rough stuff and a nice shot showing off my LARGE Sierra tunnel, which I hope is going to make my life easier in the long run. I have had the 205 block steamed and stripped and ive also picked up a fuel pump and dizzy.

Thanks buddy, ive asked Trev to take lots of pics as he goes along and the body work guy too.

I must just take a moment to point out to everyone that I simply dont have enough hours in the day to work on the welding and body work side of things and Kwik Fit arent overly keen on letting me do the welding or painting in my depot so im not a lazy fecker incase it appeared that way, I just need to do it this way if I ever want it finished, having seen what some members are doing in their garages I feel like a bit of a cheat but its ok........ I will get over it

i dont think anyone would knock what you are doing, after all it is about time, resource, money and skill when building these cars and each to their own, at least we are all passionate about what we want, and thats an Escort on the road.

Kwik fit eh, any chance of some discount

Yeah sure, plenty of discount mate. My favourates at the moment are the 195/45V13 Conti Contacts, wide enough for 7's and low enough profile to fit on four spoke 6's on a lowered standard arched car looks so much better than 185/60h13's....... oh and in stock too !

Does that mean you don't need that front bumper I bought over?

Get the bits ordered quick is my suggestion. The quality of the job will far outlast the pain in your wallet. Expressed have long waiting lists for several reasons. One being that they are damned good at makin bits, and another is you can't get the feckers anywhere else.
