Just thought i'd start the thread for the red resto,
its a 'T' plate venetian red rs2000 custom, with full history and not a great deal to do. managed to get a few hours in the garage today and started grinding all the welds back from the repairs that had been done to the inner wings,

are you keeping the vinyl roof on it ?

been of the internet for a bit as tiscali decided to cancell my broadband by mistake, after about 12 hours worth of phone calls most of which was on hold and a call to ofcom im back on, not bad really, only taken 2 weeks
update on the car
have fitted new wings, front panel and nosecone and car is going to local ford dealer in the next week or so for respray, done a deal with them ie letting them have some use of car for promotions and that is reflected in the cost of the work, £725.00 plus vat can't be bad eh. It may have helped that the bodyshop manager has a MK1 RS.
The engine has gone to a local racing company for strip down and rebuild with stage 2 head Vernier gear and fancy cam and all that kind of stuff
will let you know full spec when engine is stripped for assesment and i decide what to keep and what to change

Took the car down to Ford dealer yesterday for the paint job.
they are going to e-mail me pics as it progresses so i can get them on when they arrive. didn't manage to get any pics taken myself as the weather was crap.
