depends how rusty they are
i'm sure if you cut the roof clean off the doors wont close properly

that aint bad then if you got all those extra bits. sure i paid £100 for mine new but had to get a second hand one for the bars!!
must be a good one if it came out of the car in one piece.

i dont know pal ? i searched and searched for the right one and found this one the price included postage , two rear pillar trims , the two trims down the door post and two other little vinyl trims ! i thought it was expensive but when i opened the box i was happy it was all mint !

nice, gonna be good when it's finished, I dislike those full length roofs, I don't know what posessed people. It's not like the MkII's a really strong motor in the first place, but weakening the part of the shell that gives it the most stability is ridiculous

new roof lining just arrived ! minter with not a mark on it , roof getting reskined today !! light at the end of the tunnel forgot to mention it cost me £120

isn,t a new one from east kent trim cheaper than that???

thanks for the kind words again lads ! brings a lump to a chaps throat lol i never knew just how much goes into rebuilding a car !!!! when i see cars like big johnys mk1 and ruddys rebuild ! thats the standard you need to follow and its not easy ! but head down arse up it will be done right .
