Plan is to ge the sodding roll cage in next weekend, then the seat mounts, then paint the inside.

Going to be a fast road and 1/4 mile car!

Well, had a good weekend few weekends on the car!

Now got the floor plates and sodding roll cage fitted at last!

Then welded in the seat supports I made up (the welding got better as the day progressed, as i have only been welding a couple of days and still learning).....

Next week plan is to prep the floor for paint (and redo some of the roof after I sctratched it putting the cage in! ), then paint the floor!

I had to shorten the middle bars by about 35mm and it fitted alright, maybe the tolerances of these old fords and roll cages are not the best!

Still, it is all in now, and is not coming out again!!!!

Got the seats mounted, took a bit longer than I thought, but they are in. Will be out again tomorrow, as going to start prepping the interior for paint!

Going to paint the mounts black...

After the interior is painted it is time to do the wiring (fuse box inside) and a digital dash.......then put all the fuel tank etc back in and hopefully get it MOTed and taxed!

There is light at the end of the tunnel

keep at it, its coming along nicely.

I have also fitted sparco seats, (see Black Beastie resto)and they were a bit of a tight fit, however after re positioning a few times got them as i want,
