Gone all buffty

Bolted the engine back onto the re-furbished cross member.
New Ford rubbers for the steering rack along with a new genuine Ford steering joint. New Rack boots and buffty metal boot clips and lock tabs.
New track rod ends and new lock nuts machined and zinc plated.
Not forgetting all new nuts and bolts.


Had the re-furbished front legs built up this weekend, got new disks and calipers and some new inserts as well. Fitting them up this week.



Picked up some parts from the platers as well.



Bought some new bits as well.



Back axle off and stripped now.



Hopefully back down on its wheels by mid Jan. The jobs never seem to end.

Those legs were my Everest, blasted, two coats of powder coat, wet flat, four coats of two pack epoxy, hours of wet flatting then the top coat baked on

Got the front legs on now, disks went a bit gingery over the last few months. Stub Axles need finishing off as well.


Went to town with the yellow blobs of paint, mainly so I knew I had torqued them down









Got the back end all cleaned up






Finished the rear components now, just waiting on some new nuts and bolts to be delivered then she may be rolling again soon.
