Hi Mate. Got alot on over the next few months. Not that much to do, Its just the cost of the parts still out standing that i need.

Coming on well son, just seen this reply...I totally understand where your coming from mate, building a good proper escort aint cheap but well worth it and a very good investment...better than money in the bank id say actually! lol

Sorry to hear about the paint issue mate ...again though keep at it she will be well worth it in the end

Hi Lads. Thanks for all your comments... Well sanded the bonnet back to bare metal again and repainted it.....it looks ok this time so far..i sprayed with the darker colour to build it up and then a couple of coats of the right colour looks ok...just hope i have enough.....just doing to bad parts till i run out of paint and then i will look at repainting in a couple of years or until i can colour match it...just a shame its not prefect this time... well i better start pushing to get it ready for the Lakes...

looks the danglies mate, well impressed.dont worry about the little imperfections,you will always be looking to improve it.at the end of the day its all your own work,it looks superb, now just drive and enjoy.

Car looks great, I have the same feeling with my RS2000 and due to this she's done hardly any km's in the last 7years but when folk see her they tell me to bring her out more often so I suppose we should all listen to others and not be so crtical of ourselves as nothing is perfect ;-)
