RS2000 BASE MK2 SIGNAL RED ON W REG 17th Dec 1980
Last ever RS2000 Sold by Fordthorne Cardiff and Tredegar group South Wales.
They had six left and this was the last one to go.
This car when i was 14 use to drive through our village [ about 83] with Mr Price driving her a very elderly man in his sixties who bought the car brand new from Tredegar Ford ,when he p/x his mk1 RS2000 in.
I use to see the car every Sunday come through our village as Mr Price use to take his wife for drive on a Sunday, flat cap and threading the steering wheel through his hands.
I always wanted a Signal red [Salmon pink ] RS2000 from seeing this car years ago and was amased when i purchased the very car 3 years ago.
Mr Price owned the car right upto 1999 when it was last taxed and it then went through 2 more owners before me , which only one used her until the tax ran out.
So flat out getting her finished now, got th ebuzz back, 2 weeks off work.
Photos on trailer just of to get her undersealed and sills painted back black.
Will post a few more now over the next 2weeks to show how she progress's
shes a nice old bus no a show car but a really good car for using.
