Some won't like it but at the end of the day I wanted to build a useable car so I have chosen the colour for the underneath , satin black , used a teroson product that is overpaintable at a later date if required. I am very happy with the results, looks much sharper in the metal so to speak.

nice! nothin wrong with that. better than the thick black shultz thats dripping off most old cars!

Its beginning to resemble an Escort again, Leon the doors are great , front wings trial fitted (will be welded into place by the end of the week) , nose cone was just hung for effect and to check gaps.

haven't done anything with the mechanicals yet , apart from getting the block accidently sand blasted . Have two specs in mind at the moment, might build it standard to get it on the road this season (fingers crossed) or if its looks like it won't make it I'll go with plan B and save it for next year.

Interior is away for retrim back end next week in black beta , Frosty came up trumps with a set of door cards , well I bought three sets to get a mint pair but Kevs were the finishing touch. Rest of the interior fittings are original and very good. Got a few little non standard items to fit as well to make the car my own. Got a set of steels and a set of 7's , don't know which to fit tbh.
