Any more progress then Paul?

Been prepping the underside for a while, and talking to Spence on the BB so been taking it easy, however finally got round to putting some stoneguard on the underside. Bought a few different types and talked to a few bodyshops, wanted protection but not thick stuff , settled on a product from Teroson (not to be confused with Terasyl), quite dear but gives a cracking finish. A bonus is that its a very similar shade to Ford Dove Grey so thats given me an idea for the underside .............

I will just add that its very hard to take a pic of this stuff, looks more textured and glossy in the pic than it actually is.

Gonna miss my deadline of having it in the bodyshop by Xmas as they are struggling to give me a quote, there was a murmur of it getting pented for free if I do the owners Mexico for him ....

Oh and it will be droop snoot not flat , sorry Moggie
