your rev counter prob may be the resistor on the back of the dash

Hi rev counter could be voltage stabiliser, rev counter itself or connections at speedo head or green coil wire.

Capri alloys will be taper seat wheel nuts only the proper RS wheels have flat washer wheel nuts

well finally got round to getting it on the road for a
couple of months anyway before i pull it to bits only
failed its test on 2 split pins in the tca,s/ passenger
seat belt / horn was missing, result eh now im feeling
the urge for power would prefer to keep the pinto but
a bit unsure the best way to go normally would just drop
a cossie into it but want to try something different this time
any ideas or advice on a pinto build would be appreciated.
                                what carbs
                                what head
                                what cam etc
think the bottom end is a 2.1 as have receipt for rebore and
                                new pistons etc
