        • Thanks joe!

I thought id be about time for another wee update as alot of you lads n lassies have been asking about the car.... so here goes - bear in mind that not that much has been really done Things are gona change now coz I can get time to work on her again!
Taking time off the car has gave us a bit of a break although we were working on mk1 at that time, but its gave me time to save some ****in dosh aswell...although heres hopin the lotto comes up!
Been collecting some parts for the build so that we will be able to go at a constant rate with all the gear at hand.
Got tension strut kit a few months ago aswell as tarmac spec ally sump guard, also got a nice flocked dash and dial surround from darran at escort tec at the weekend....top bloke!
          Time for pics
Remember tho my camera aint the best so the colour is not right! ...she's ford colarado red .

Had her out the other weekend there for a wee wash...poor thing was covered in dust and alloy dust from cutting and grinding!
Was paranoid about anyone brushing by her!
So she was pushed out...(ino pushed! she will have her own power soon enough hopefully!) for a wee wash.....

Took these pics tonight, she's in need of another wash already! dusty as **** but you get the idea
She's now in a new space in the workshop...next time she moves from this space she will be runnin! ....if all goes to plan!

Got her jacked up and on stands, thinking of taking the princess four pots off and fitting em to mk1 ...

            • How's it going Shifty ?

Did you go for 9's & 8's Rev's in the end - and what size tyres did you pick ?

              Rear spoiler looks very nice.

              Cheers,

              • Nipper: Thanks mate, im sure I passed you on the way into the heaves on Friday when your car was on the trailer - looked well smart

Hoogi: Cheers mate, Im good thanks although im still recovering from the lakes lol....How you doing? Were you down there also?

I ended up going for 8x15's all round and im sure the tyre size width on front was 205 and 225 on rears with a 45 or 50 profile.
                Hows yours coming on mate?

                • Hi Shifty,

Yep, was at the Lakes on the Sunday as I live just down the road from the Heaves Hotel (about 10 miles).

I did have a nose round looking at various cars trying to put faces to motors but there was so much to drool over I kind of lost the plot.

Unfortunately I've been real busy with work over the last couple of months and then I've a wedding to go to in June, abroard. I come back off this and then I'm away working again !!!!!!!! So I won't lay a finger on her until August-ish You'll be finished way before me.

By the way it's looking sooooooo good

Well then folks after a lonnnnng break from working on this car....were back in action again! lol
Me n the auld man got a good shift in today....after working on my crosser fitting the new reconed forks we thought we would do a bit to AFX since the weather is $hit! lol
Started off by fitting my boot hinges and carbon fibre backing strips...(man it was nerve wracking drilling the fresh paint!)
After this was done we decided to fit the slipper springs, atlas axle and 5link bars...just need to set up the bars properly and tighten everything up...looking alot better with things getting bolted on
                        Heres the good bit.......the pics!

Il try keep the updates coming....will no doubt be coming more often as the weather aint too good! lol
