  • Well then time for another update........YES!.....SHE'S PAINTED!!!!!!
After slightly longer than 1st expected my painter mate has done me proud with her new lick of paint!
We managed to go and collect her this afternoon (although it was raining), as soon as she was home it was time for a wash and dry and back in her stable with heaters on

Iv tried to get some decent pics to show you although they dont do her justice because of the lighting... or my dodgy camera ...pics keep coming out pinker than how the colarado red actually is...
Might push her out in natural light at weekend if its dry

Right heres the good bit!,,,,,,The pics!
    Heading home...

Im over the moon with how she has turned out
Next thing on the list is a full new set of window rubbers and fit the polycarb window set
Will try keep the updates coming

                      • Cheers lads!

Hally: lol hows it goin mate? You all set for the tour?

I have although we have been trying to work on maw n paws mk1 as were doing the lakes in it now, plenty of late nights ahead me thinks lol....although I keep looking and wondering over to my mk2 in between times to fit some bits and just generally dream of driving her lol

Iv fitted the carbon rear quarter window trims, painted behind grill black, sorted boot badges, awaiting some fancy gear to fit carbon spoiler and door card set so that should get done this week hopefully!.
The window rubbers and that should arrive tomorrow so that should get the windows in now....Bought spare wheel post, tension strut kit, tension strut anti roll bar kit, adjustable tca's, tarmac spec sump gaurd and.... I collected a nice pair of fancy of flaps for her too! lol

Will hopefully get some pics up asap

Right then....finally managed to actually do a bit of work on AFX tonight!......and it felt good! woohoo!
When I got in from work I sprayed the inside of mk1 as my dad had prepped it during day...so this didnt take too long...afterwards we turned our attention to AFX
Managed to get the carbon boot spoiler on...after alot of measuring! and the boot badges etc...fitted the carbon quarter window trims the other week...
Feels great to get the new bits on

Will try keep the updates coming folks
